The ultimate archipilago idyll
Experience the ultimate archipelago idyll on an unforgettable day trip to Styrsö, a gem in the heart of the West Swedish archipelago. Here, you’ll be surrounded by picturesque wooden houses, two lively harbors on either side of the island, and inviting bathing spots with sandy beaches and smooth granite cliffs.
Follow the green-and-white hiking trail through a landscape of contrasts – from open, windswept granite rocks shaped by the sea, to blooming meadows rich with wildflowers, and sheltered groves of leafy trees. Along the way, you’ll pass historic Viking graves and ancient relics while admiring the beautifully preserved wooden villas that give Styrsö its unique charm.
During the tour, we’ll also climb to the island’s highest point, Stora Rös, where breathtaking views stretch across the archipelago, with vistas reaching as far as Bohuslän and Denmark.
For a break, we can reserve seats at a charming island café, where you’ll sit in the café’s vegetable garden and soak in the relaxed rhythm of island life.
This guided experience combines nature, culture, and relaxation – a perfect way to discover one of the most beautiful and tranquil islands of the West Swedish archipelago.
