Tour information

Nature, Sea & Nordic Serenity

Journey into the heart of Sweden’s coastal wonderlan –  the Stockholm Archipelago. With over 30,000 islands stretching from the capital into the Baltic Sea, this unique world of forests, granite cliffs, and open waters invites you to slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature.

This four-day experience blends luxury comfort, island adventure, and Scandinavian flavor, offering flexible options to tailor each day to your group’s pace and preferences.

Your Island Base: Sandhamn Island

During your stay at Sandhamn is a seaside retreat known for its maritime charm and relaxed elegance. Just steps from the harbor, the hotel features cozy lounges, outdoor terraces, and an inviting spa area. Whether enjoying breakfast by the water or an evening sauna after a day outdoors, it’s the perfect base for archipelago life.

Accommodation options:

  • Single & Double Rooms – modern Scandinavian design with comfort and calm.
  • Suites – extra space, sea views, and upgraded amenities.
  • Optional spa treatments and access to saunas, pools, and wellness areas available daily.

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome to the Archipelago

Your Swedish journey begins at Arlanda Airport, where private mini-vans will transport you straight into the heart of Stockholm. After a brief city stop to soak in the vibrant atmosphere, you’ll embark on a scenic voyage to Sandhamn by boat.

This 3.5-hour journey takes you through tranquil channels and a breathtaking seascape dotted with scattered islands. Along the way, you’ll pass notable sights such as the historic Vaxholm Fortress, offering a glimpse into Sweden’s rich maritime heritage.

Optional enhancements:

  • Private yacht cruise including dinner to Sandhamn. With welcome drink
  • Luggage transfer directly to hotel rooms
  • Short guided walk through Sandhamn village on arrival

Day 2 – Fishing Adventure & Floating Sauna

Start your morning with a generous breakfast buffet before setting out on a guided fishing adventure. Local skippers lead the way through calm waters around Sandhamn and Värmdö, sharing their favorite fishing spots and local stories. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned angler, the experience offers both excitement and peaceful reflection.

Lunch can be arranged at a harbor restaurant or served outdoors on a small island — hearty stew or warm soup to match the day’s weather. Return to Sandhamn for free time or a bike ride before evening sets the stage for a classic Nordic ritual: the Floating Sauna.

Drift on the water, alternate between a refreshing swim and the warmth of the sauna, then unwind with drinks or snacks before dinner at Sandhamns Värdshus, a charming island restaurant with a maritime soul.

Optional experiences:

  • Add a professional photographer for your excursion
  • Drinks and snacks service during sauna time
  • After-dinner gathering at the Värdshus pub

Day 3 – Nature Hike & Culinary Experiences

Embrace the Stockholm archipelago’s calm with a guided nature hike around Sandhamn. The trail weaves through pine forests, sea cliffs, and quiet beaches — offering panoramic views and local insight from your guide.

Late morning, a RIB boat transfer takes you across open waters to Bullandö Krog, one of Värmdö’s most beloved seaside restaurants. Enjoy a lunch overlooking the bustling Bullandö Marina, the largest harbor on Sweden’s east coast.

Return to Sandhamn for an afternoon of leisure, relax at the spa, explore the village, or enjoy a coffee by the harbor. The evening culminates in a Chef’s Table Dinner at Orangeriet, where eight exquisite dishes are prepared over open fire. The experience combines storytelling, culinary artistry, and the flavors of the archipelago — a highlight of the journey.

Optional experiences:

  • Add-on kayaking or paddleboarding session
  • Picnic basket or outdoor lunch alternative
  • Interactive cooking or wine pairing with the chef

Day 4 – Stockholm & Farewell

After a final breakfast overlooking the sea, it’s time to say goodbye to the islands. A private transfer returns you to Stockholm City, where you’ll enjoy a guided stroll through Gamla Stan (Old Town) — a living museum of cobblestone streets, colorful façades, and centuries-old architecture.

Conclude your experience with a traditional Swedish lunch, before your private transfer to Arlanda Airport for the evening flight home.

Optional additions:

We had an unforgettable experience thanks to Limited of Sweden. The guides were knowledgeable, engaging, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish.

Every stop felt thoughtfully curated, and their enthusiasm was infectious. I am incredibly grateful that they were the ones to take us around Sweden, it would not have been the same without them.
